Counselling
Welcome to my Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy practice, where philosophy, cross-cultural insight, and diverse backgrounds merge to create a transformative counselling experience. With over 20 years of community and educational support experience, I combine my humanistic background with counselling techniques to offer personalised and inclusive therapy sessions tailored to your needs.
Using a variety of psychological approaches, I adapt each counselling session to my client’s needs and uniqueness. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with practical Psychodynamic strategies alongside Person-Centred techniques to cultivate empathy and positive regard.
Integrating mindfulness techniques is central to my counselling practice. These techniques promote relaxation and emotional balance, enrich the therapeutic journey, and deepen self-awareness.
Committed to ethical practice, I adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) Ethical Framework and continuously enhance my skills through professional development.
Why Remote Counselling?
With remote counselling, I can reach more people and offer timely support, which helps raise awareness about mental health and provides crucial assistance in the digital era.
My Counselling services provide a convenient and accessible platform for individuals to seek support and guidance for their mental and emotional well-being.
Through online counselling, each person can access professional help from the comfort and privacy of their homes, eliminating barriers such as transportation or scheduling conflicts.
Additionally, remote-based counselling offers a sense of anonymity, allowing clients to feel more comfortable expressing themselves openly.
Moreover, as an IEEE CertifAIEd™ Authorized Assessor and a certified AI Ethics and Policy professional, I evaluate the ethics of AI systems, particularly psychotherapy apps. I am passionate about addressing the ethical challenges of emerging technologies in mental health and developing frameworks that ensure these tools are inclusive, responsible, and beneficial to society.
