Chi Sono

My Academic Life

I graduated in Filosofia (Laurea Magistrale) from the University of Chieti, Italy, where I specialised in Karl Popper’s theory, existentialism and epistemology. My thesis was titled “The Critique of the Historical Method—Karl Popper.”

I later obtained a PhD in Philosophy, Religion and Spiritualities (Minority Religions) from the University of Birmingham, UK.

I am a lecturer, researcher and counsellor with an interdisciplinary approach that bridges philosophy, ethics, education and mental health.

As an FHEA Fellow and IEEE Certified™ AI Ethics Assessor, I specialise in academic integrity and the ethics of AI. I contribute to interdisciplinary research as a GUS Fellow and as a Professor Extraordinarius at UNISA.

Beyond academia, I am an accredited counsellor (MNCPS-Acc.) and a BACP (MBACP) Registered Member. I am currently collaborating with two British counselling charities.
I ensure the support and well-being of each person I work with.
